With the final matchday of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season in the books, Bulinews.com Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has picked his Team of the Week, this time lining up in a 4-3-3 formation.

    Goalkeeper

    Jonas Omlin, Borussia Mönchengladbach

Couldn't prevent Gladbach from losing to Wolfsburg, but certainly did what he could, making a total of five saves over the course of the game.

    Defenders

    Rasmus Kristensen, Eintracht Frankfurt

Played a crucial role in Eintracht’s vital 3-1 victory over Freiburg, contributing both a goal and an assist in a standout performance.

    Chrislain Matsima, Augsburg

Delivered a superb assist and won eight duels for Augsburg. Unfortunately for the centre-back, his efforts weren’t enough to prevent a defeat against Union Berlin.

    Ramy Bensebaini, Borussia Dortmund

A rock-solid display from the Algerian defender, who won eight duels and completed 89% of his passes in Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Kiel.

    Maximilian Mittelstädt, Stuttgart

Energetic and effective down the left flank, Mittelstädt was instrumental in Stuttgart’s 3-2 win over RB Leipzig, providing an assist.

    Midfielders

    Marcel Sabitzer, Borussia Dortmund

Impressed on a rare start for Dortmund, completing 96% of his passes and scoring a well-taken goal from distance.

    Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Capped off a brilliant debut Bundesliga season with another standout display, scoring a well-placed free-kick and providing an assist.

    Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig

Scored a cheeky backheel goal and constantly troubled the Stuttgart defence.

    Strikers

    Deniz Undav, VfB Stuttgart

Played a decisive role in Stuttgart’s 3-2 win over RB Leipzig, contributing both a goal and an assist in an impressive attacking display.

    Marvin Ducksch, Werder Bremen

Delivered a standout performance in what was most likely his final appearance for Werder. Scored and assisted before he was forced off with an injury late on.

    Myron Boadu, Bochum

Signed off the season in style with a brilliant brace, as relegated Bochum secured a 2-0 away win over St. Pauli.
