Stuttgart updates: Sankoh loan-out finalized, El Bilal Touré to be introduced on Friday

Having confirmed their loan-out for young striker Mohamed Sankoh, VfB Stuttgart are expected to unveil their new attacking addition for the coming 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign on Friday. 

The 22-year-old will join the 2023/24 German Bundesliga runners-up for an unusually high loan fee in the €3-4 million range. A €16 purchase option is reportedly also part of the deal.

Twenty-year-old VfB Stuttgart striker Mohamed Sankoh's rumored loan-out to Italy's Serie B has been officially confirmed. The Dutch youth international's third consecutive loan from his Swabian parent club was announced yesterday. VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth's official statement definitely suggested that Sankoh's German side had not given up on the youngster. Wohlgemuth spoke of "more important playing practice" for the young prospect. 

In other VfB-related transfer news, most all German footballing media sources are now reporting that the deal to bring in Malian international El Bilal Touré in from Atalanta Bergamo has been completed. The 22-year-old was spotted at club headquarters on Thursday arriving for his medical. Both Germany's main sporting tabloid and its preeminent footballing publication are reporting that negotiations over a complex loan deal have been concluded. 

Touré will join the Württembergers on loan for an unusually high loan-fee. "Sport Bild" and "Kicker" speak of a fee in the €3-4 million range. Stuttgart have the option to purchase the young talent permanently for a fee of around €16 million. Both sources also claim that the Serie A side have opted to forgo a buy-back option on the player. The Italian UCL representatives are apparently banking on a large pay day.
