Eintracht Braunschweig and VfL Bochum go head-to-head after contrasting opening 2. Bundesliga matchday for the two sides. While Bochum lost at home to Hertha BSC in the first game of the season, Lars Kornetka’s side scored half a dozen goals away at Magdeburg.

As expected, the hosts kept their starting lineup with hopes of staying top of the division, apart from former Magdeburg defender Andi Hoti taking Lukas Frenkert’s place after returning from injury.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s Hall of Famer Uwe Rösler introduced Karol Mets, Mats Pannewig and Gerrit Holtmann to Bochum’s XI after the trio improved the side last week as substitutes.
