According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, several clubs, primarily from England and Germany, are interested in Aleksandar Stankovic.

Specifically mentioned in the report is a duo of Bundesliga clubs in Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen who are interested.

However, the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are said to have submitted inquiries for the Serbian.

Club Brugge bagged the midfielder for around €9.5million last summer, but Internazionale could activate a buy-back clause.

Given the numerous interested parties, the Serie A giants could bring Stankovic back for the fixed release clause of €23million.

The motive would be to resell the 20-year-old for a profit, albeit both of the Bundesliga sides are unlikely to join a bidding war.

All three of the Premier League sides linked with Stankovic hold greater financial power to compete for his signature.
