According to information from Sky Germany, David Mokwa from TSG Hoffenheim is close to a move to SV Elversberg.

The Saarland club are said to be in advanced negotiations for a permanent transfer with a total package of around €2million.

According to the pay-TV broadcaster, the high-flying Bundesliga side wants to secure a buy-back option for the 21-year-old.

In Sinsheim, the Frenchman, who has not played for the first team this season, still has a lengthy contract until 2029.

However, in Elversberg, Mokwa could now succeed striker Younes Ebnoutalib who just moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for €10million.

In the 3. Liga this season, Mokwa has made a total of just 7 appearances but has managed to find the net on 3 occasions proving his ability.
