As reported by various outlets on Sunday, Hamburger SV have agreed a deal to bring Fabio Vieira back from Arsenal on a permanent basis.

The Portugal international was subsequently filmed arriving at Hamburg Airport ahead of his medical.

HSV will reportedly pay a fixed fee of €9 million to sign Vieira, who is set to receive a contract until at least 2030.

The North German side have been working for months to bring the attacking midfielder back after he established himself as a key player during his loan spell last season.

The 26-year-old made 31 appearances for HSV during the 2025/26 season, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.
