Karim Adeyemi has left it open whether he will extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund beyond 2027.

After coming off the bench to score the winner in BVB’s 1-0 victory over Stuttgart on Saturday, the attacker avoided committing his future to the club.

“My focus is to play well in every game and help the team. We’ll see what happens. You never know what the future holds,” Adeyemi said, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

“I feel comfortable here, I feel comfortable everywhere.”

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund sporting managing director Lars Ricken denied reports that contract talks with Adeyemi have been put on hold.

“We’re in very normal, trusting talks, where not much leaks to the outside, which can sometimes lead to false reports, as recently. We are still in talks with Karim,” he insisted.
