Olympique Lyon talisman Malick Fofana is believed to be open to a move to RB Leipzig before the transfer window shuts.

According to a report by Sacha Tavolieri, the Saxony-based club is a concrete option for the Belgian international.

The Ligue 1 side, in turn, were eliminated in the playoffs by Fenerbahce and are now dependent on player sales.

Missing out on all-important Champions League revenue could force Lyon's hand regarding the 21-year-old.

With Sulenan Sani on the verge of a move to Saudi Arabia, Fofana is considered their top candidate as a replacement.

A transfer fee of €50million was recently being discussed for talent who produced 2 goals and 1 assist in 16 games last season.
