According to various media reports emanating out of England, Michael Zetterer is on the verge of a move to Leeds United.
Both The Athletic and Sky Sports suggest that negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt are already at an advanced stage.
The 31-year-old has been keen to leave the Hessen club for some time after losing his status as first choice shot-stopper.
At Leeds, however, Zetterer would be a backup behind James Trafford, who arrived from Manchester City for a €47million fee.
Ultimately, two conditions still need to be met for the deal to go through between the Bundesliga and Premier League sides.
Adi Hütter's team need a new first-choice goalkeeper after current number one Kauã Santos has been shown the exit door.
Freiburg's Noah Atubolu is their preferred candidate. Meanwhile, Leeds is still looking to offload 28-year-old Lucas Perri.
