Man City defender expected to undergo Dortmund medical next week

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester City defender Yan Couto is expected to go through a medical with Borussia Dortmund next week.

 

After lengthy negotiations with Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund look set to finalize a deal for 22-year-old right-back Yan Couto.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Couto is expected to undergo a medical with the German club next week.

Dortmund and Manchester City are currently negotiating the final details of the deal structure and payment terms, the Italian transfer guru claims.

The Black and Yellows are reportedly hoping to agree a deal below €30 million for Couto.

The 22-year-old Brazilian right-back has spent the last two seasons on loan at Girona in Spain. He made 34 appearances for the club last season, scoring once and providing 10 assists.
