With Thomas Müller's contract set to expire at the end of the season, the Bayern Munich veteran's future is currently up in the air.

The 35-year-old recently made it clear that he doesn't feel ready to call time on his playing career just yet.

"I still have 90 minutes left in me. I'm still a player," he said.

According to Sport Bild, Müller hasn't made a decision on whether to extend his contract with Bayern or leave the club.

He is interested in a move to the American MLS, the report says, adding that a move within Europe is not an option.

There's also a big question mark over what will happen to Müller once his playing days are over.

According to Sport Bild, Bayern have already told the 35-year-old that they would like him to take on another role at the club at that point, either as an ambassador or in an active management position.

Meanwhile, the German Football Association has also reportedly contacted Müller about the possibility of him taking on an unspecified role.

Another option - and a very probable one - would be a TV job, with Sport Bild reporting that he has already received concrete requests from several TV stations to work as a pundit after his playing career ends.
