RB Leipzig’s El Chadaille Bitshiabu has been handed down a one-match ban from the DFB sports court, the club have announced.

The centre-half was sent off during Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening.

Match referee Matthias Jollenbeck brandished the red card after the Frenchman’s last-man foul on Ansgar Knauff in the 50th-minute.

As a consequence of his actions, Bitshiabu will now be suspended for Leipzig’s game against Bayern Munich this Saturday.
