Mukhtar flirts with Bundesliga move
Ex-Germany U21 international Hany Mukhtar reveals he is subject of interest from the Bundesliga.
Nashville SC midfielder Hany Mukhtar claims he has attracted interest from the Bundesliga.
The former Germany U21 international told Bild:
"There is interest from Germany. But Nashville is my first contact. We've already opened talks. We're now waiting for the play-offs, then we'll see what happens."
Mukhtar, a product of Hertha's youth academy, added that he feels confident enough to come back to Germany.
"I'm at a good age, I've seen a lot, I've always played in recent years and I feel very good physically," he said.
Mukhtar has been prolific for Nashville this season, racking up 18 goals and 10 assists in 32 games.
His contract expires in 2022 and can be extended by another season via a clause.
