Mainz 05 have confirmed that Kevin Stöger and Jean-Paul Boetius will leave the club, when their contracts expire this summer.

"[Stöger] didn't always have an easy time with us. But he has played a huge part in keeping us in the league. All the best," Mainz sporting director Christian Heidel said after today's 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

He went on to describe the also-departing Boetius as "a very, very positive type and immensely important player for Mainz 05."

Before today, it was already clear that Daniel Brosinski would leave as a free agent and that Jeremiah St. Juste would join Sporting CP.
