Dutch international Xavi Simons didn’t play in Leipzig’s 1-1 draw with Kiel after picking up his fifth yellow card last week. Instead, Xavi was on the microphone with Sky before the kickoff at the RedBull Arena.

“I’m still a young player, I have many dreams – and the club knows that,” said Xavi, reports Sky’s Florian Plettenberg. “But, right now, the most important thing is to play well in the upcoming games. After the international matches, we’ll sit down and see what happens.”

Xavi signed permanently for Leipzig before the end of his two-year loan spell. However, his contract at the club will only run until 2027. Plettenberg also reports that Manchester United and Liverpool are among his suitors. Leipzig could be open for a summer departure for €80 million in the summer.
