Leverkusen's French winger Moussa Diaby had to be subbed off with adductor issues early in the second half during last night's Europa League loss to Monaco. Bayer trainer Xabi Alonso expressed grave concern for his left-footer at the post-match presser. The 23-year-old himself admitted to Germany's main sporting tabloid that he had experienced previous issues.

"Of course I'm worried about Moussa," head-coach Xabi remarked, "we'll have to wait and see how serious the injury is."

Stephan van Nocks of Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that the French international is scheduled for an MRI today and that the club is actually skeptical about his long-term availability. Germany's red company team would surely miss his services. Diaby has scored seven goals and added a further four assists in the league this season.
