Ankle injury to prevent Haller from making club comeback

There was some sad news emanating out of the Borussia Dortmund camp yesterday. BVB and Ivorian national team striker Sebastien Haller will remain unavailable to his German club team for several more weeks due to a flare up in his ankle injury.
Upon returning from the Africa Cup of Nations a national hero for his home country of Cote d'Ivoire, there were high hopes that Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller would get a chance to reestablish himself for his German club Borussia Dortmund. Unfortunately, Dortmund confirmed that results from a post-AFCON medical returned bad news. The 29-year-old will remain out for "several weeks" due to a flare up in his ankle injury.

Shortly after scoring what proved to be the game-winning goal for his country in the AFCON Final last Sunday, Haller had to be subbed off with pain in his ankle. A proper diagnosis was obviously deferred whilst during the celebrations of Cote d'Ivoire's continental championship. The sobering news came on Friday. The very same ankle injury sustained in December's 1-1 draw with Mainz will sideline Haller again.
