Lukasz Piszczek says he could imagine extending his contract with Borussia Dortmund which currently runs until 2020.
At the age of 34, the experienced right-back suggests he may still have some good years left in him.
"At this point, I don't want to say conclusively that I will retire next year. We'll see how it goes. If there is an option to extend my contract, I'm open to that," Piszczek told Polish news outlet Przeglad Sportowy, as per Sport.de.
"I think the club likes my attitude - also off the pitch. I work and live professionally, have a lot of experience and don't cause any conflicts," he added.
Piszczek has played for Dortmund since 2010.
