When VfB Stuttgart beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, Enzo Millot was absent from the squad despite being fit - and there’s a clear reason why.

According to Kicker, the Swabian club permitted Millot to miss the game because he is currently in talks with several clubs regarding a summer transfer.

Stuttgart fully expect the 23-year-old to leave, as he has a release clause set at around €18 million.

Atlético Madrid are believed to be leading the race for the attacking midfielder, with ongoing negotiations between Millot and the Spanish giants.

Galatasaray have also been linked with the player, but their interest appears to have stalled, as the Turkish club have prioritized signing Victor Osimhen permanently from Napoli.
