Leon Bailey has been suspended for three Bundesliga games and handed a fine of €20,000 after he was sent off in Bayer Leverkusen's 2-0 loss to FC Köln on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was shown a straight red card for violent conduct towards the end of the game after he pushed his hand into the face of Köln's Kingsley Ehzibue.

Bailey has been shown two red cards so far this season. The winger has made 12 appearances for Leverkusen through the 2019/20 campaign, netting four times.
