Bayer Leverkusen star Kevin Volland reveals he's attracted to playing in the English Premier League.

"The Premier League is a very interesting league for me. The pace is extremely high, and the league requires a lot of running. That would suit me. But you never know what will happen," Volland told Sport1.

The 27-year-old is out of contract in 2021 and is yet to hold talks with Leverkusen over his future.

"I'm not the type to say that I absolutely have to play in England, Italy or Spain. I feel very comfortable in Leverkusen and leave everything open," Volland said and added:

"I'm relatively calm and haven't held any talks about my future yet. I'm more relaxed than I was a few years ago. I'm initially concentrating on our goals at Bayer and would like to help the team with goals and good performances. Everything else will show with time."

Volland has made 29 appearances this season, racking up 11 goals and seven assists.
