Nmecha and Guirassy make progress in injury recovery

Both Felix Nmecha and Serhou Guirassy have made progress in their recovery from injury, with Borussia Dortmund hoping to have them available for Saturday's game against Freiburg.

    Borussia Dortmund are hoping to have Felix Nmecha and Serhou Guirassy back in their squad for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Freiburg, according to Sky Germany.

    Nmecha, who has been sidelined since January with a ligament injury, completed part of the team's training session on Wednesday.

    Guirassy, who missed last week's 3-1 win over Mainz with an adductor strain, has returned to training but is not yet training with the team.

    An MRI scan has confirmed that the Guinea international hasn't suffered any structural damage, so a return to action against Freiburg is not out of the question.

    The Black and Yellows are 10th in the table going into their clash with seventh-placed Freiburg.
