Therefore, the striker only recently found out that sporting director Ralf Rangnick will also serve as head coach in the coming season and that Julian Nagelsmann will join from Hoffenheim to take over next year.
"I turned off my phone during my vacation, and only four days ago I realised that Julian Nagelsmann will be our coach in 2019, that Ralf Rangnick will take over until then and that we have signed three new players," Poulsen told Bild on Sunday evening.
Poulsen also commented on the rumors that Everton have tabled a bid for him.
"Rumors are rumors. I don't worry about my future. I have a contract here for another three years," he said and added:
"I don't know anything about an offer. You should ask my agent about that."
The 24-year-old striker has played for RB Leipzig since 2013.
