Mario Götze may not be able to feature against his former club.

As Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller revealed at a press conference on Friday ahead of Sunday’s Bundesliga game against Bayern Munich, the attacking midfielder is currently ill.

“Mario Götze was ill yesterday and today,” Toppmöller said.

“He'll have to make a decision tomorrow based on how he feels.”

He also confirmed that the game will come too soon for Robin Koch.

On the bright side for Eintracht, Ellyes Skhiri and Oscar Højlund have returned to training and are in contention to start.
