Corentin Tolisso could be out for up to eight weeks

Corentin Tolisso has undergone surgery on an ankle injury, Bayern München have announced.

The German champions expect that the central midfielder will begin rehab in around four weeks.

According to Bild, Tolisso could be out for up to eight weeks in total.

The 25-year-old has made 24 appearances for Bayern this season, racking up three goals and five assists.
