Marcel Sabitzer wasn't risked for RB Leipzig's 3-1 victory over Mainz last week due to a muscle problem.

And 'Die Roten Bullen' will have to manage without their captain once again when they lock horns with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

"He's out for the time being," RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann said on Thursday without providing a timeframe on the Austrian international's recovery.

Konrad Laimer and Ibrahima Konaté remain unavailable as well, but Dayot Upamecano and Lukas Klostermann should recover from minor knocks in time for Saturday's game.

Meanwhile, Alexander Sørloth is expected to be in the squad for the first time after joining RB Leipzig from Trabzonspor earlier this week.

"He is very fit and in good physical condition," revealed Nagelsmann.
