FC Köln announce first summer signing
23-year-old Dejan Ljubicic becomes FC Köln's first signing for the 2021/22 season.
FC Köln have confirmed the signing of 23-year-old Rapid Wien captain Dejan Ljubicic.
Ljubicic will join the Bundesliga outfit on a free transfer this summer after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.
"We are very pleased that we could convince Dejan to join FC. He has been fantastic this season and has led Rapid Wien as captain at the age of 23," said FC Köln managing director Horst Heldt.
"That naturally perks your interest. From the summer, he will strengthen us with his superb quality in defensive midfield."
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has made 126 appearances for Rapid Wien with eight goals and 10 assists to his name.
