Hoffenheim set to beat Stuttgart in signing of 18-year-old PSG center-back
Paris Saint-Germain have produced some outstanding young talents in recent years.
According to reports from Sky Germany, Mbuyi-Muamba was offered several deals to sign with the French club but all in vain as he looks outside of France for professional development.
It looks like his first professional contract will be signed in Germany.
He turned 18 recently and will likely join Hoffenheim’s youth teams before making the leap to the first team.
Muamba is an agile center-back who is known for his dynamism and strong presence in the backline. He has been likened to Samuel Umtiti for his style of play.
He will become the second Frenchman this season this join Hoffenheim after 19-year-old forward Georginio Rutter, who arrived from Stade Rennais in the beginning of the year.
