Hertha BSC centre-back Marton Dardai has signed a contract extension with the German capital club.

The 19-year-old, who is the son of Hertha coach Pal Dardai, has put pen to paper on a new deal until 2025.

"Marton is a Herthaner through and through. He’s another example of the great work being done by our academy. He has shown his huge potential in his first Bundesliga campaign so far, so we’re really pleased that he will remain a part of the Hertha family in the coming years," said Hertha BSC sporting director Arne FRiedrich.

Marton Dardai commented:

"I've been at Hertha since I was 10. My dream was always to become a professional here, which is why I immediately knew that I wanted to stay at the club. I want to continue developing here and I’m excited for the future."

Marton Dardai has made 10 Bundesliga appearances this season.
