FC Bayern join Sevilla & Atalanta in race to sign on-fire Almeria striker

The talented forward has played in numerous European leagues so far – from Serie A and Scottish Premiership to Eredivisie and Serbian Superliga.
UD Almeria are in contention to play in La Liga next season, thanks to their attacking performances this season that has seen them score the second highest number of goals (54) in the league.

Spezia youth product Umar Sadiq has been a major force for Almeria, scoring 18 goals in 34 appearances – 1/3rd of all the club’s league goals.

His performances have attracted suitors from all over Europe, including Spanish giants Sevilla, Italian aces Atalanta and German heavyweights Bayern Munich – according to reports from local paper La Voz de Almeria.

24-year-old Sadiq has a market value of €8m, according to transfermarkt, and his contract in Andalusia expires in 2025.

He experienced a revelation during his time in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade, where he score 23 goals in 52 appearances.

With Lewandowski’s departure rumours spreading around in the air, Sadiq’s name is relatively new on the block.
