According to Spanish outlet Fichajes and Italian channel CalcioMercato.com, Internazionale appear to be frontrunners for Alonso’s signature as Achraf Hakimi looks to be on Bayern Munich’s radar as Julian Nagelsmann’s premier signing next season.
Antonio Conte is looking to reinforce his midfield prowess on the left side, that has seen Inter become one of the most efficient and effective attacking sides in Serie A.
The Real Madrid youth product is also on Dortmund’s books as a potential transfer and they ‘will try to take the lead in the negotiations.’
He will come relatively cheap – around €15m.
Alonso’s playing time has been cut short after Thomas Tuchel’s appointment in the dugout for Chelsea, with Ben Chilwell taking over the starting place in the team.
