Ismail Jakobs linked with Monaco switch

FC Köln's Ismail Jakobs has reportedly attracted interest from AS Monaco.

AS Monaco have concrete interest in acquiring Ismail Jakobs from FC Köln, according to Bild.

Due to a release clause in his contract, which runs until 2024, Jakobs can leave for €13 million if Köln stay in the Bundesliga and for €8 million if they are relegated, as per the report.

Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been linked with the 21-year-old, who is capable of playing as a left-back and as a left winger.

Jakobs has played 25 games this season with two goals and two assists to his name.
