Report: Arsenal in talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender
Arsenal are said to have opened discussions with Bayer Leverkusen over a possible transfer for Edmond Tapsoba.

Tapsoba signed a new contract at Leverkusen which got rid of a €50 million release clause. However, no news of an increased release clause has been broken.
The Burkina Faso defender was subject to interest from Manchester United and Liverpool earlier this year, with the former sending scouts to watch him and the latter making an enquiry for him while they were scrambling to find a new centre-back.
Tapsoba joined Leverkusen from Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes on January deadline day last year for €18 million and has emerged as one of the top centre-backs in the Bundesliga, so Arsenal would likely have to break the bank to lure him away from 'Die Werkself'.
