In perhaps the worst kept secret of the coming transfer window, Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konaté has been understood to be headed to Liverpool FC since agreeing to personal terms on April 23rd. Now that the season has concluded, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced today that the medicals have been completed an a €35 million release clause may now be officially activated.

German footballing magazine Kicker claims that this number may be closer to €40 million and even suggests that it may rise as high as €46 million. If true, this would push RB's net gains (after transfer fees procured for Hannes Wolf, Dayot Upamecano, and head-coach Julian Nagelsmann) to well over €100 million.
