Barcelona outcast & former Juventus midfielder linked with Bayern move

Miralem Pjanic’s Barelona career hasn’t taken off as expected, with limited game time in his debut season behind youngsters Pedri and Frenkie De Jong in the central midfield role.

Pjanic recently claimed to have been left behind with a ‘bitter taste’ after a tough season in Catalunya as he posted on social media.

According to Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Pjanic is set to move away from Barcelona as he foresees a lack of game time under Ronald Koeman and is being linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

Selling Pjanic will also help the club offset some wages that can be channeled elsewhere.

With a market value around €30m, the former Juventus man could certainly be an affordable prospect for his vast experience, but it is highly unlikely Bayern will go forward with a move for the 31-year-old.

The Bosnian’s contract with the Blaugrana expires in 2024.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are the other two clubs also reportedly interested in his services.

He has appeared a total of 30 times for Barcelona so far across all competitions.
