Prospects for a quick return to the national team appear quite good. Plettenberg noted that a precautionary MRI was scheduled for Monday. If Goretzka is given the green light, he could begin resuming light training at the Seefeld camp as early as Tuesday.
Update #Goretzka: Good news again! LG feels good & will undergo a final MRI on Monday. If the result is good, he will travel to Seefeld on Tuesday & join the team training as soon as possible. His big goal remains the opener against 🇫🇷. Contract talks proceeding calmly. @SPORT1
