Jerome Boateng promises "next chapter" in emotional farewell

Jerome Boateng issued an emotional farewell to the FC Bayern München fans, who supported him for a decade, on his Twitter account.

Where the youngest of Germany's three Boateng siblings may be headed now remains unclear, but the 32-year-old vowed to continue his career.
The three Boateng brothers of Berlin's Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district still have pages to write. The elder George, who once played for the Hertha BSC youth side, continues his musical career. Kevin-Prince still plays, alongside Mario Balotelli, at A.C. Monza in the Serie B.

While no real reliable information exists about for whom the younger-half-sibling will be suiting up next, Jerome Boateng indicated that he plans to continue playing football. In a farewell message to his FCB supporters on twitter, Jerome proclaimed that he was "excited" for his "next chapter."

All three of the Boateng brothers began their careers at the capital city's "alte Dame". Many German footballing enthusiasts would like to see Jerome return to Hertha for a curtain call. Beyond this sentimentalist projection, verifiable links are scarce.
