Germany coach Joachim Löw believed his team 'fought brilliantly and showed great morale' in their 4-2 win over Portugal tonight.

The 61-year-old was delighted to see his side bounce back from their 1-0 opening loss to France at the Euros.

"We spoke about a few things in the past few days. We were still looking for balance after the France match and knew that we had to add a gear to create more chances," Löw said after the game, according to EURO 2020.COM.

"We fought brilliantly and showed great morale. We had a lot of good attacks against a really strong opponent."
