Alex Nübel set to join Monaco on loan from Bayern

Bayern München second-choice goalkeeper Alex Nübel is on the verge of joining AS Monaco on loan.

AS Monaco are poised to complete the signing of Alexander Nübel on loan from Bayern München, according to multiple reports.

Sport1, Sky and RMC among others claim that the goalkeeper will undergo a medical tomorrow before joining the Ligue 1 side on a two-year loan deal.

AS Monaco are understood to be paying a loan fee of €2 million to land the 24-year-old.

According to Sport1, Sven Ulreich will return to Bayern on a free transfer as a replacement for Nübel after leaving Hamburger SV.
