For the third game in a row, 20-year-old Jacob Bruun Larsen bagged a goal for Borussia Dortmund as Lucien Favre's troops defeated AS Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League last night.
Bruun Larsen was sent on the pitch at the break to make his Champions League debut, and the Danish winger quickly made an impact by sending Dortmund ahead after 51 minutes.
After the game, the 20-year-old said he is always striving to make the difference.
"Everything went really fast, and I had to get on the pitch quickly. I didn't think much, but just enjoyed it. The coach explained some tactical things to me and told me that I should enjoy it. I just want to make the difference, especially with goals and assists. I'm really happy," Bruun Larsen said in an interview with Sky.
Dortmund coach Lucien Favre praised Bruun Larsen and said he didn't put the youngster in the line-up because he wanted to give him some rest.
"He has played a lot lately. It was about time I gave him some rest. Today, he came in at half-time and immediately scored. His run was very clever," Favre told Sky.
Bruun Larsen has made four appearances for Dortmund this term with three goals and two assists to his name.
