Bilal El Khannouss' loan deal has converted into a permanent transfer meaning the Moroccan is officially a fixed part of VfB Stuttgart's squad.
El Khannouss played for Stuttgart on loan from English side Leicester City in the recently concluded 2025-26 season.
As per the contract, the loan has now been made permanent, meaning the attacker is now tied to the Baden-Württemberg until 2028.
In his first season, El Khannouss made 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
Furthermore, his performances have earned him a place in Morocco's squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
“Bilal delivered convincing performances in all competitions for VfB last season, and furthermore, as a young player, he plays a central role in the Moroccan national team.
"Bilal already possesses exceptional footballing abilities, and at the same time, we see further potential for development in him.
“We at Stuttgart are therefore convinced that he has not yet reached the end of his development,” said Fabian Wohlgemuth, VfB's sporting director.
