Tim Kleindienst has left Heidenheim to join Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 28-year-old striker has signed a contract with Die Fohlen that runs until 2028.

Gladbach managing director for sport Roland Virkus describes Kleindienst as a “great guy” with “a lot of different attributes as a centre forward.”

"He’s dangerous in front of goal, a hard worker and someone who helps motivate his teammates. He can hold the ball up as a target man, but also run in behind at pace," he added.

Tim Kleindienst commented:

"It’s a big chance for me personally to play at such a big club. I’m massively looking forward to my time here. I hope that I can help Borussia be successful again next season."

Tim Kleindienst scored 14 goals in 25 matches for FC Heidenheim in the 2023/24 campaign.

Gladbach have paid a reported €7 million to bring the striker to Borussia-Park.
