Conflicting reports on Hincapié’s release clause at Leverkusen

According to Sky Germany, Piero Hincapié's release clause is higher than previously reported.

Earlier this month, Spanish outlet AS reported that Piero Hincapié's release clause at Bayer Leverkusen is set at €50 million.

However, Sky Germany now claims the actual figure is €60 million.

The 23-year-old Ecuadorian international is believed to have suitors in both La Liga and the Premier League

Hincapié joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2021 from Argentine club CA Talleres for a reported fee of €6 million.

In December, he signed a contract extension that ties him to the Bundesliga side until 2029.

The defender has featured 42 times in all competitions for Leverkusen this season.
