Earlier this month, it was reported that Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah had agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich.

However, the two clubs have yet to agree on a transfer fee, and it remains to be seen if the deal will actually happen this summer.

According to Bild, the transfer is in jeopardy because the two clubs are quite far apart in their valuation of the player.

Bayern opened talks with an offer of €20 million, but Leverkusen are demanding twice that amount - far too much for the Bavarians, especially since Tah had a release clause of 18 million last year.

Tah has played for Leverkusen since 2015. With his contract expiring in 2025, Leverkusen will be keen not to lose him for a free year.
