Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl confirmed on Wednesday that Mathys Tel has told the club he wants to leave before the end of the transfer window.

With a number of clubs interested, the big question now is where he will end up - and whether it will be on loan or on a permanent basis.

According to a number of sources, including L'Equipe and Sky Germany, Bayern and Tottenham have agreed a fee of €60 million for the French forward.

The deal now hinges on whether Tel himself agrees to join Tottenham permanently, with the player currently considering his future.

The German transfer window closes on Monday.
