Sky Germany are reporting that VfL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim are interested in signing FC St. Gallen's Alessandro Vogt.

The price would be manageable, as the 20-year-old's contract, which runs until 2029, includes a release clause of just under €2.7million.

The Swiss U-21 international leads the Super League scoring charts with eight goals in twelve games so far.

Standing at 1.88 meters tall, the right-footed player possesses a strong physical presence and also impresses with his technique.

Although he represents Switzerland at youth level, Vogt also holds dual citizenship through his Italian mother.

Once again the two clubs are embroiled in transfer rumours with Wolfsburg keen to sign the Sinsheim club's director of sport in recent days
