Gladbach open up talks with Stöger, Irlbacher reports
The man widely considered to be the most valuable player on VfL Bochum's roster unquestionably attracts plenty of interest from top-tier sides following his departure from the Revierklub on an expiring contract. Marlon Irlbacher of Sky Germany reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach are the first to seize the initiative in pursuit of 30-year-old attacking midfielder Kevin Stöger.
Stöger brings with him the experience of 148 Bundesliga appearances, in which he's netted 17 goals. The journeyman's estimated market worth has risen to €5 million in the latest transfermarkt update following an impressive campaign with Bochum.
