Hollerbach and Khedira see room for improvement after Union win
After Union's win over St. Pauli, Benedict Hollerbach and Rani Khedira admitted that there is still plenty of room for improvement.
Union Berlin recorded their first Bundesliga win of the season on Friday night, beating St. Pauli 1-0 at home thanks to Benedict Hollerbach's first-half strike.
Speaking to DAZN after the game, Hollerbach said he was pleased with the three points, but admitted the performance could have been better.
"It could be more dominant, it could be better, the coach wasn't completely satisfied. If we conceded a goal it wouldn't be a good game -- but we chalked up three points, the best result," Hollerbach said.
“We know we can do better,” he emphasized.
Union captain Rani Khedira agreed, saying his side were "a bit too passive".
“We've got a lot of improvement in us,” he added.
