Köln boss confirms interest in Sampdoria defender
Steffen Baumgart has confirmed that FC Köln are looking to bring in a new centre-back this month and that Sampdoria's Julian Chabot is one of the players they have targeted.

FC Köln coach Steffen Baumgart has confirmed that 'The Billy Goats' are interested in Sampdoria defender Julian Chabot.
"We are looking for a new player at the centre-back position," said Baumgart at a press conference today.
"We considering two or three candidates. Julian Chabot is one of the players we are thinking about."
Köln have already said goodbye to two central defenders this month as Rafael Czichos and Sava-Arangel Čestić have left.
In addition, Jorge Mere is understood to be on the verge of following them out the exit door, with a move to Mexico apparently on the cards for the Spaniard.
