When Yussuf Poulsen joined RB Leipzig from Danish side Lyngby Boldklub at the age of 19 in 2013, 'Die Roten Bullen' had just been promoted to the 3. Liga.

Poulsen, 24, has stuck around, and today - five and a half years later - he has grown into a leading players at the club that won promotion to the Bundesliga in 2016.

"I have become one of the leading players. I have played for the club for almost five and a half years now, and I have grown as a person," Poulsen said in an interview with Sport1 and added:

"It has been necessary for more players to take the lead, because for a while, we didn't have many players who took responsibility. Now, I'm one of the players who make the others listen."

The Danish international has previously been linked with a move to the English Premier League, but the striker says he isn't interested in leaving RB Leipzig right now.

"Not at the moment, but maybe someday. I still have a lot to do in Leipzig," he said.

Poulsen has played 196 games for RB Leipzig, and that makes him the club's record appearance holder.
